The Tresca Team gives a huge shout-out to local Buffalo start-up, ACV Auctions.
On Wednesday of this week (March 24), ACV officially became a publicly traded company with their IPO on NASDAQ. ACV is Buffalo’s first ever unicorn (privately held startup company with a value of over $1 billion.) They’re also the first Buffalo company to go public since Athenex in 2017.
Tresca has had the opportunity to work with ACV Auctions on multiple projects over the last 3 years, partnering with them on the mechanical tools and gadgets that have become an instrumental part of their business.
It’s always a pleasure working with the ACV team as their culture is one of innovation and inventiveness. They are open-minded and very bright thinkers who never shy away from the next big thing and Tresca is honored to have been a part of their journey so far.
We’re excited to see what ACV will continue to improve and innovate over the coming years; not only in the wholesale vehicle business, but in the Buffalo area as a whole. ACV has helped push-start this Buffalo Renaissance and we here at Tresca are grateful to grow alongside them in this flourishing, start-up friendly city!
